ASSISTANT STABLE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

For our slaughterhouse in Oevel, the most modern slaughterhouse in Belgium, we are looking for an employee responsible for unloading trucks of pigs into the pens.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Together with our permanent team, you will ensure everything runs smoothly. Teamwork is definitely not a problem for you.

You are responsible for unloading pigs and monitoring animal welfare.

You follow a schedule and verify it.

You play a crucial role in ensuring that the logistical process within the slaughterhouse runs smoothly.

You participate in internal training and continue learning on the job daily.

If the pen manager is absent, you will take care of additional administration and planning.

You work well with computers and are the first point of contact for the drivers.

You check documentation and supervise the pen staff as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

You can start at 3 AM.

You have a very good command of the Dutch language; English is a plus.
